The TMUX136 device is a high-performance 6GHz dual-channel 2:1 switch that supports both differential and single-ended signals. The device has a wide VCC range of 2.3V to 4.8V and supports a power-down protection feature that forces all I/O pins into high-impedance mode when the VCC pin is powered down. Some pins of the TMUX136 support a 1.8V control voltage, allowing them to interface directly with general-purpose I/O (GPIO) of low-voltage processors. A pass-through pinout with inputs and outputs on either side of the device simplifies layout. This feature, along with the device's low on-resistance and low on-capacitance, makes the TMUX136 an excellent device for switching a variety of analog signals and digital communication protocol standards, including high-speed standards such as I3C.
